Put the Blackhawks on Elimination Alert

The Canucks and the Blackhawks have fought two previous series in the past. Each time, the Blackhawks have come out on top in those two games, winning it in six games.

This time around, it seems like the Blackhawks are headed for elimination. After losing 3-2 to Vancouver in Chicago on Sunday, there are down 3-0 in a series, hoping to get a crucial Game 4 win and flip the series back to Vancouver. But that seems like the conclusion in Vancouver will ultimately end it for the Blackhawks.

Down 3-0 in a series with the President Trophy-winning Vancouver Canucks is something that the Blackhawks will have to live with once this series is over. Their defense is not bad, but it has given up some bad goals to the Canucks and it's not looking good for Corey Crawford who is struggling to find himself this post-season.

But never fear for Blackhawks fans in Game 4. I predict that they will come out with heart and passion in Game 4 to actually win a game in the series and therefore not be swept in a four-game series by the Vancouver Canucks. That is, if the Canucks really want to press the Blackhawks tomorrow night.

This is already a done series so just book it that the Canucks are going to make it the second round. As for the Blackhawks, they got the worse end of the deal when the regular season ended. They said thank you to the Wild when they defeated the Stars and knocked them out, but they had a first round date with the Vancouver Canucks and it did not look good for them. Time to start thinking about next season, Blackhawk fans.
